The Louisiana Cemetery Association was formed in 1954 as a professional organization of the state's cemetery businesses and their owners. The association provides a forum for sharing ideas on subjects pertaining to cemetery development, operation and management for mutual benefit and protection. The association welcomes all types of cemeteries. It's  membership includes private, religious, municipal, profit, non-profit, lawn, and traditional cemeteries.
